Bhooth Bangla Runtime Revealed: The Horror-Comedy Set To Be Akshay Kumar's One of The Longest Films
BY SACNILK
Mumbai, March 31 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla. The film, which was earlier scheduled to release on April 10, is now reportedly being pushed to April 17 to maintain a healthy gap from Dhurandhar 2, which continues to dominate the box office across the country. Bhooth Bangla marks the much-anticipated reunion of Akshay Kumar with acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan, making it one of the most exciting collaborations in recent times. Even though the film is still over two weeks away from release, a key update regarding its runtime has surfaced. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the film is expected to have a runtime of approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes (170 minutes). However, since the censor certification is still pending, the final duration may vary slightly. The confirmed runtime will be known closer to the release date. If the rumoured runtime indeed gets locked, it will be among Akshay Kumar's longest films in the last 12 years. The last Akshay Kumar film with a similar run time was Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014), which was also 2 hours and 50 minutes long. It was initially planned for March 27 and later shifted to March 30, and this delay further hinted at a possible change in the release date, though an official announcement is still awaited. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar, Asrani, and Rajesh Sharma in key roles.
