South Indian Stars Who Will Make Their Hindi Debut In 2021

The year 2020 hasn't been great for the Indian film industries, especially for Bollywood. The year was expected to bring a lot of joy among the fans and showbiz business but everything was left behind, thanks to the covid-19 pandemic which halted the entertainment industry badly.





But now, things are easing up and people can expect a lot of entertainment in 2021 and beyond. Some of the big movies featuring top Indian stars are lined up to release next year. Apart from the Hindi actors, a few of the most loved South Indian stars across India are also set to rock in Bollywood.



Here are the South Indian actors who will make their Hindi debut in 2021 -
Samantha Akkineni



One of the finest actresses in the Tollywood film industry, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to rule the hearts of the Hindi audience. While her Bollywood debut is still not looking to happening, the Jaanu actress will be making her Hindi as well as a digital debut with Amazon Prime Video's original web series, "The Family Man 2" which will see Manoj Bajpayee reprising his role from season 1 along with Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, and Mahek Thakur. Directed by Raj&DK, the show is expected to arrive in February 2021.



Vijay Deverakonda



The Telugu superstar, who gained immense popularity with his 2017 Telugu blockbuster "Arjun Reddy", is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Dharma Productions' upcoming film directed by Puri Jagannadh. He will be sharing screen space with Ananya Pandey in the actioner which is being simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu. Promoted as a pan-India film, the project is aimed at showcasing Deverakonda as all-India star material.



Rashmika Mandanna
Just 10 movies old, Rashmika Mandanna has already done films in the Telugu and Kannada languages. In 2021, the Dear Comrade star will be seen making her Tamil and Hindi debut also. Talking about her Bollywood debut, she will star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu. The espionage thriller, directed by Shantanu Bagchi, is inspired by a true story set in the 1970s. Apart from Mission Majnu, there are reports that she has bagged another Bollywood film that stars Amitabh Bachchan.
Vijay Sethupathy
One of the biggest Kollywood actors, Vijay Sethupathy is all set to start his Bollywood journey in 2021. The actor recently shared the first look poster of his debut Bollywood movie, Mumbaikar which will be directed by the acclaimed filmmaker, Santosh Sivan who is best known for cinematography in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. Earlier, Sethupathy was supposed to make his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan starrer, Lal Singh Chaddha, but now, he is reportedly no longer part of the movie which is scheduled for release on 25 December 2021. Sethupathy will also be seen with Shahid Kapoor and Malavika Mohanan in Amazon Prime Video's web series.
Pranitha Subhash
Pranitha Subhash who has acted in the movies like Saguni, Attarintiki Daredi, Rabhasa, Brahmotsavam, Hello Guru Prema Kosame, and others, was expected to make her Bollywood debut with Bhuj: The Pride of India in 2019, but the movie was postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic. The Ajay Devgn starrer will now release in 2021 on Disney+Hotstar. Pranitha will also star in Hungama 2 alongside Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, and Meezaan Jeffery.
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas who has acted in several Telugu films will mark his Hindi debut with the remake of the Telugu film Chatrapathi starring Prabhas and directed by SS Rajamouli. The Hindi remake will be bankrolled by Pen Studios' Dr. Jayantilal Gada. VV Vinayak who launched Sai Sreenivas in Telugu films Alludu Seenu will be directing his Hindi debut movie.
