Mumbai, April 15 - In a significant boost for Indian animation on the global stage, Baahubali: The Eternal War – Part 1 has been selected for the "Work in Progress" showcase at the prestigious Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026. Widely regarded as the world's most important animation festival, Annecy serves as a global launchpad for some of the most celebrated animated films. The film's inclusion in the Work in Progress lineup places it among a curated selection of international projects currently in production, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at evolving animated features. The 2026 edition will feature 16 standout projects from across the globe, reflecting diverse storytelling styles and cutting-edge animation techniques.
